PRADO MUSEUM

PRADO MUSEUM

The Prado Museum is Spain's most important museum and one of the world's finest art galleries. Its collections of Italian, Flemish, and Spanish art from the 15th to the mid-19th centuries are particularly noteworthy—a spectacle of European painting. A guided tour of the Prado is highly recommended, as understanding the paintings enhances the true appreciation of the museum.

There are so many works on display that it's easy to get lost and feel overwhelmed, whereas with a guide, the collection truly comes to life. Velázquez, Goya, Titian, Raphael, El Greco, Bosch, Ribera, Zurbarán, Rubens, Tintoretto… The list of art stars is breathtaking. The explanations about their works will not only allow us to appreciate and enjoy them, but will also take us on a fascinating journey through the history of Spain and Europe.
