in the most important tablao in Madrid

The Tablao Flamenco 1911, historically known as Villa Rosa, is a legendary tablao, considered the cathedral of flamenco in Madrid. Located in the Plaza de Santa Ana in the traditional Barrio de las Letras neighborhood, the venue stands out for its walls covered with Andalusian-themed ceramic tiles, both inside and out. It is the most beautiful and architecturally valuable tablao in Madrid. The Mudejar arches inside give the tablao a fascinating Andalusian-Moorish atmosphere.

The greatest flamenco artists have graced its stage, from Camarón de la Isla and Paco de Lucía to Enrique Morente, José Mercé, Diego El Cigala, Lola Flores, Sara Baras, Estrella Morente, and Rosalía. It was a place visited by Ernest Hemingway and Ava Gardner, and it appears in Pedro Almodóvar's High Heels. The show features elite flamenco artists who come to the legendary Villa Rosa to delight us with their art and their spirit, and to continue writing the history of flamenco in Spain. The most authentic place in Madrid to enjoy flamenco, the living history of the city.
